EXIT 110 is a hip-hop group formed in 1995, currently composed of Al G and Illmatic Mike.  Non active members include Dred Scott.  Orginally the group formed while Allen G and Dred Scott were attending Michigan State University.  The idea to form a group was hatched due to the love of hip hop, and fueled by alcohol.  Illmatic Mike served in an executive producer manner and provided most of the recording equipment at the time.  In a time where money was sparse, digital equipment was not affordable for the average consumer, and  creativity was high; the group was formed.   The use of analog cassette tapes, keyboards, and cheap mics were the only way to get the job done.   Early on the group enlisted a recording studio in Royal Oak Michigan to burn their first two singles to CD.  Paying $10 disk, ten copies were made.
